Property description
Character Cottage with pool and Hot Tub. Wheelchair accessible and free WiFi. Largest domestic pool in the region 16m x 14m.
4 bedrooms can sleep up to 8 people. One downstairs double has been adapted for wheelchair users or people with mobility difficulties, there is ramp access and a wet room with wheel-in shower chair.The gite is fully equipped with everything required for a comfortable stay. Hifi/CD/iPod/MP3 player, TV/DVD and Playstation for the kids as well as table tennis and baby football table outside. There are 4 hectares of grounds and gardens.
Next door is our own house which is also a guesthouse and can sleep up to 6 additional people. If you want to rent the whole place please contact us for details.
Use of the pool is generally the reserve of guests at La Vigne as B&B guests tend to go out and about and stay for short periods.
Whilst we live next door you still have your own privacy and facilities and will only be around to maintain gardens and clean the pool, unless you need any help or advice.
We can arrange winetasting tours at an Organic vineyard - a very popular evening.
Meals can be arranged to be delivered to your gite, and the washing up taken away. You need a holiday after all. 4 courses are 20 euros per person including wine.
Breakfast bread, croissants and newspapers can be delivered if required.
Blissfully peaceful, no road noise just birdsong to wake you.

Location description
Located in the Bordeaux Wine Region near the UNESCO World Heritage Site of St.Emilion. We are surrounded by vineyards and forests overlooking the valley towards Villefranch de Longchapt an ancient English Bastide from the 100 years war. Castillon la Bataille the French Bastide from the same period is 8 kms away. The nearby village of Montcaret has a Gallo-Roman museum with wonderful mosaics uncovered at the local 12th Century church. For children there is plenty to do with the Dordogne river just 5kms away for canoeing, or horseriding nearby. Further afield there is a large waterpark at Bordeaux or an outdoor tree top experience at Tetacap.
