Lovely substantial Perigord farmhouse in attractive gardens close to medieval town of Villereal (also Monpazier and Monflanquin).
Property description
The farmhouse offers good sized accommodation in an attractive countryside setting yet only 2km from all facilities in a popular 13th century bastide town
Downstairs in the house you will find a large fitted kitchen / dining room with a farmhouse table, plenty of room for up to 8 people.
There is also a comfortable lounge with traditional beamed ceiling and stone walls (and a flat screen TV with a wide selection of DVDs).
A small twin bedroom is available downstairs if there are more than 6 people in your group or if anyone has difficulties with stairs.
Upstairs in the property you will find three good sized bedrooms (one en-suite shower-room) and a family bathroom.
Outside, there is a comfortable seating area and a large garden, along with swings for the children.
There is a large swimming pool (12 metres * 6 metres) is in a lovely sunny position and shared with the cottage at the same property (and occasional use by the owners).

Location description
Close to the southern border between the Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne departments, the house is 2 km (a pleasant walk) from Villereal, a very popular 13th century bastide town.
Also within 15-20km you can visit Monpazier and Monflanquin (both classified as most beautiful villages), the bastide town of Castillonnes and the very well preserved medieval town at Issigeac.
Bergerac is approximately 25km, and the numerous picturesque towns and villages along the Dordogne river are also within easy reach.
Price Details
Note: Grenadier prices below are REDUCED by £100 per week in low and mid season for groups of 4 people or less only using 1 or 2 bedrooms
Low season: £500 (580 euros) per week for weeks in May, June and September
Mid season: £750 (860 euros) per week for weeks starting 30 June - 14 July
High season: £1000 (1150 euros) per week for weeks 21 July to 25 August
Terms and conditions
We request a payment of 25% to be sent at the time the booking is made - the reservation is held for 7 days to allow the payment to reach us, during which time the property will not be available to anyone else.
The remaining 75% is due 8 weeks before the start date of your visit, along with a security deposit of £100.
