Property description
Le Claud, an old French farmhouse, has recently been restored and converted to provide high standard accommodation for 4 people. Set in an ideal location for those looking for a peaceful relaxing holiday. Our own website has more photographs and detailed layout and pricing. The rules of this site prevent us from providing a direct link.The property is situated in its own grounds of 3 acres with views over the surrounding countryside. The 8 x 5 meter (approx) salt pool has a large terrace with comfortable loungers, tables,chairs and shade. There is also a solar shower beside the pool. Wisteria has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite) both with bath and separate shower. The lounge has comfortable sofas, satellite TV, CD and DVD player. The kitchen/diner is fully fitted with a fan assisted oven, ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher and a comprehensive range of crockery,utensils and many other extras.Wisteria and Jasmine have lovely terraces with tables and chairs and BBQ's to enjoy outside eating, either under the shade of the lime tree or in the sun. The large gardens have many fruit and nut trees, lawns and an abundance of flowers and shrubs, which are at their best around May - June. There's plenty of room to get away from the pool area to 'play' or sit quietly with a book.Other Info: We provide all linen and towels including pool towels. The linen will be changed if your stay is two weeks or on request for a 1 week stay. We can also provide mid stay cleaning for an additional charge. You will find many other extras on your arrival to ensure you have an enjoyable and comfortable holiday.

Location description
The area has many attractions. Many vineyards surround the area offering tastings and a fine selection of wines. The renown Monbazillac wines are just 12 mins away more known for their sweet wines. The Monbazillac Chateau is well worth a visit and the on-site wine shop stocks all the Monbazillac wines. Saint Emilion also famous for it's wines is about 45 mins drive. This lovely hillside town is a must to visit with plenty of good restaurants.Other activities include Horse Riding, Canoeing, Go-Carting, cycling and walking, with many other attractions to visit such as Aquarium, Caves etc. Visit The Eymet or Bergerac tourist office for all up to date informationMost local villages have a Market Day once a week and sometimes a night market. Annual events like the Sigoules wine festival, with caberet and fairground for the children are very popular. Followed by the Eymet Oyster festival. There is always something going on.We are approx 20 mins from Bergerac Airport (Frequent flights by Ryanair and Flybe), Eymet and Duras. St Malo is approx 7 hrs drive and Calais 10 hrs drive.
