Property description
Levant has bags of character and is a cool, spacious gite for four people. It is one of three gites at Faysselle.
The hamlet of Faysselle is in a gorgeous twelve-acres setting, surrounded by gardens, field and woodland, with views across a valley.
The 10.5m x 5.5m pool is shared by all guests. There is a toddler pool to one side and a waterfall drops down into the main pool. There are sun terraces and sun loungers for all guests.
Levant has views across fields to the rear and across a valley to the side. The first impression on entering on a hot summer day is of a cool interior. The spacious living area has comfy sofas, satellite tv/radio and dvd/video. An oak dining table can seat six guests and there is quality oak kitchen, that has all the equipement, crockery, pots and pans etc that you would wish and expect.
French doors lead from the living area out to the pretty terrace. Shaded by a pergola covered in roses, honeysuckle and grapevines, the terrace has views across the valley and is an ideally peaceful spot to enjoy your BBQ.
A stone staircase leads to the beamed landing and to the two bedrooms - one double and one twin. Both bedrooms have fans, and insect screens in the windows. There is a pretty shower/wc.
Levant also makes a cosy winter let with an inset wood burning stove that vents heat into the bedroom above.

Location description
Faysselle is in an idyllic location with no passing traffic and yet only 5 minutes from the historic village of St Maurin with its shop, bar and restaurant, museum and abbey ruins.
The surrounding area is wide open spaces of farmland with acres of wheatfields and sunflowers adorning the rolling countryside. Known as the market garden of France, there is no better area to enjoy the fresh regional produce which is so abundant in the local markets.
We are lucky to be within easy reach of Toulouse, Bergerac and Bordeaux airports, and just 30minutes from the A62 Bordeaux Toulouse motorway, and one hour from the A20 motorway at Cahors.
There is so much to do in the local area that all ages can be kept happy. Riding, golf, fishing, water sports, country and canal walks, boat hire, Parc Walibi theme park, water park, delightful medieval villages, roman remains, museums, and of course wonderful food!
During July//August a wonderful night market takes place every Wednesday night in St Maurin (also Saturday nights in Puymirol and Thursday nights in Lauzerte) where guests choose their meal from a variety of local produce cooked in situ, and eaten at tables in the village square, to the accompniament of a great band.
