Farmhouse Gites in South West France. Canard Ferme stands in the midst of a region of gently rolling countryside, quaint towns and villages and excellent vineyards. Bergerac airport is 45 minutes, Bordeaux airport, 90 minutes and St Malo, the closest ferry, is six hours from the farm.

The two superb gites, in a farmyard setting amid two acres of gardens, provide an ideal base for golf, walking, cycling, horse-riding, fishing, boating and exploring an unspoilt area of south west France.

Duck House gite sleeps four with double and twin beds and shower room. Drake House gite sleeps six with double, twin and bunk beds, full size bath and walk in shower, extra toilet downstairs and washbasin in the downstairs bedroom. All bed linen, towels (including swimming towels) are provided. Both have fitted kitchens with full size cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge, freezer etc and a comfortable sitting room with CD player.

Both have private barbeque and patio areas. Table tennis, darts, boules, childrens swings and croquet are all provided.

The large swimming pool has Roman steps and a sunbathing area. 

 Prices from £250 to £580 per week in high season.

Location description

The local village, three minutes drive away has a general store, post office, bakery, bar and newsagent. Miramont and Marmande are fifteen minutes away and offer excellent restaurants and shopping facilities.

The north of the Lot & Garonne in the South West of France: 15 minutes from Marmande or Miramont & 45 minutes south-west from Bergerac.
