Property description

Bel Air is a beautiful property secluded in grounds of one and a half acres with a private salt water swimming pool. The terrace is complete with pool furniture and barbecue. Just a 7 minute walk to the village of Lacapelle-Biron. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms it accommodates up to 10 adults and 4 children.

Bedroom one has a double bed and two single beds with an en-suite bathroom on the first floor.

Bedroom two has a double bed and a single bed with an extra mattress. Located on the ground floor.

Bedroom three has a double bed and is located on the ground floor opposite the shower room.

Bedroom four has bunkbeds and is located adjacent to the shower room on the ground floor.

Bedroom five has a double bed and an en-suite wetroom. This bedroom has a private entrance on the lower ground floor which is poolside.  

Ideal for family reunions, special occasions, or walking groups. The open plan sitting and dining areas and fully fitted kitchen are on the ground floor, with access to the sunny pool terrace for al-fresco dining. Linen and towels provided. There is a separate laundry room with washing facilities. Free wireless internet access and Satellite TV.

High chair and cot are available on request.

Location description

The region boasts many gastronomique delights including foie gras (rich goose liver), truffles (exquisite black mushrooms), confit (preserved duck) and Cabecou (goats cheese). All can be savoured with locally produced wine from the Bergerac vineyards.

Set in the rolling hills and gentle valleys of the Lot et Garonne and Dordogne borders, Lacapelle Biron is the perfect place to spend a quiet and relaxing holiday.

The typical French bastide town of Monpazier is close by, here you will find all the shops that you will require whilst on holiday including supermarkets, bakers, newsagents, chemists and of course restaurants and bars. The larger town of Bergerac is approximately 45 minutes drive.

The area is abundant in history with many castles and medieval towns such as Monpazier and Monflanquin. Try the famous Monbazillac, Bergerac and Bordeaux wines and the famous regional gastronomic specialities. After you may want to try the canoe trips along the Dordogne, swimming and water sports lakes, horseriding, fishing lakes, tennis and many more other activities, or alternatively just enjoy the naturally slower pace of life and relax around our salt water swimming pool with pool alarm.

There is no regular public transport to and from the village of Lacapelle Biron.  Taxis from Bergerac airport are very expensive and few and far between.  We would strongly recommend that guests of Bel Air have use of a car. Buggs Car Hire are a local English speaking car hire firm who have proved to be very reliable www.buggscarhire.com. Alamo, Avis, Hertz, Eurocar and Budget also serve Bergerac airport.

Terms and conditions

Minimum stay is 1 week (£428.50 per additional day if necessary)
50% of the payment is due at the time of booking and the balance must be paid 10 days before holiday is due to start. A £500 deposit is required which will be returned 7 days after the rental period assuming that the property has been checked and all is in order.
