I am from the USA (Louisiana). I speak almost no French (Cajun, un peu).
Would you please comment on the difficulty of touring Dordogne, while speaking very little Frech language.

Hi John, many people visit the Dordogne with almost no French language knowledge. Most restaurants and activities will have staff who can speak some English, but it's also worth bringing a phrasebook and a pocket English-French dictionary.
You'll manage just fine!

Could you please include both the château and the gardens in the lists of places to visit. Both are top listed as "monuments historiques. Tours in English for groups and texts for individual visitors are available. Contact us for any further information[img][/img]
