Property description
This family-run hotel, parts of which date from the 17th Century, is in St Paul Lizonne, a small, quiet hilltop village, surrounded by the stunning Dordogne countryside, and enjoying panoramic views.
We have ten en-suite rooms, each with a view over the surrounding hilltops.
A large swimming pool awaits lazy summer afternoons, and meals can be served either in our oak beamed restaurant or, on warm summer evenings, on the terrace where you can relax and soak up the atmosphere over our locally sourced menu and regional wines.
Good home cooked food
We are open every evening from 6pm serving, fresh, local produce and seasonal dishes, using the hotel's garden produce when possible.
Classic French dishes mixed with the best of modern European cuisine all served on the terrace with outstanding views over the surrounding countryside.

Location description
Area information
St Paul Lizonne, our quiet hilltop village, is a beautiful testament to French rural life. In the village itself a Romanesque church, a bar and restaurant. Just 15 km away, in the town of Riberac, one of the largest Friday markets in the Dordogne awaits.
Local attractions
We are an ideal base for exploring the Dordogne and the Charente. We are also within easy reach of river beaches, canoeing, golf, fishing and horse riding.
The peaceful rural setting is ideal for walkers and cyclists, and the local tourist board have recently produced a map for this purpose.
Vineyards await you in either direction, the Bergerac wines sourcing much of our wine list and the Bordeaux region where you will also find Cognac.
